Paco is back for a watch-or-not doc recap/review. It also happens to be the Seventh Anniversary of this podcast! We discuss many documentaries.

The battles of Fyre Festival docs w guest Andrew Ti (Yo, Is This Racist?) and we break down antiheroes with white privilege, scammer culture, and FuckJerry.

We talk with the legendary director Brett Morgen about filmmaking, being creative and great stories about Robert Evans, Mick Jagger, The Kid Stays in The Picture, Montage of Heck and Jane!

We take a look back at some of our favorite moments from the past 100 episodes. You’ll hear clips from Dana Gould, YACHT, Wayne Federman, Sara June, Megan Koester, Baron Vaughn, Marjorie Sturm, William Hutson, and Adam Pfahler. You’ll even hear a clip within a clip (and a guy from clipping)!

We are thrilled to have as our guest journalist, activist and comedian Francesca Fiorentini as we recap Michael Moore’s latest documentary Fahrenheit 11/9. Francesca is known famously for her work on AJ+ Newbroke. As with most Sup Doc episodes we have differences, lot of laughs, in-depth moments, no real conclusions and we get schooled in “postcolonial feminist theory”!

This is a special LIVE episode of Sup Doc. We recorded this at The New Parkway Theater in Oakland Ca. We screened the documentary The United States of Detroit and then talked with the director Tylor Norwood and originally from Detroit and currently living in Oakland comedian Karinda Dobbins (regularly opens for W Kamau Bell).

Guest comedians Rana May and Shelly Paul join George to explore our online lives and the world of Second Life

Our guest is comedian Chad Opitz and our doc is Evil Genius a true crime series about the murder of Brian Wells often referred to as the “pizza bomber” case.

On episode 91 of Sup Doc, we’re talking about the cult classic documentary KING OF KONG with comedian and actor Matt Champagne.
